PROLEARN Summer School June 21, 2006
Posted by kieslinger in : events , add a comment2 weeks ago the PROLEARN network of excellence on professional technology enhanced learning had a very successful summer school which took place in Bled, Slovenia. For all of those who missed it, but would like to get an idea of what it was like, there are various options to follow up on the event.
All presentations and recorded talks can be obtained via www.prolearn-academy.org or directly in Confolio (slides) and PROLEARN TV (video).
Here is the objectives of the event as announced on the PROLEARN Academy website:
Building on its first success in 2005, PROLEARN, the Network of Excellence in Technology Enhanced Learning for Professionals, is pleased to announce its Summer School 2006. Our ambition is to foster cross-domain training and collaboration opportunities among researchers in Europe and beyond, working in the disparate fields of expertise which promote the advancement of TEL at the workplace. The programme includes lectures from leading professors in the field, trans-European tutoring, mentoring, and joint research opportunities, as well as internships with industrial partners. Additionally the school will offer practical sessions in research methodology and the basics of Technology Enhanced Learning. Advanced PhD students will be identified to present their research at the EC-TEL 2006 Conference in October in Greece (extended deadline: June 14, 2006).

this is me during my easter trip to rome in 2006 trying to escape the herds of tourists. i would not recommend rome during easter time unless you are really keen on crowds.

the things that I will most probably discuss about here is this blog is on issues related to networking over the net. so I figured it must be time for me to start being more present myself on the web….
