today I met Chris Kenyon, one of two thought leaders on heutagogy, and his wife in Vienna. We had a nice chat in the Cafe Sperl, one of these very traditional coffee places in Vienna, where you can sit for hours sipping a cup of coffee and talk or read the newspaper or whatever.

One of the first things that Chris actually told me was that they were told that in Austria you can sit in places for a long time and do a lot of talking. Yes. And cultural differences remained an reoccurring topic during our conversation. Dogs in coffee shops, teaching styles, educational systems, Milton Keynes, etc. etc.

For me this encounter was the first one that had been initiated by this weblog and I really enjoyed it. So maybe I should keep posting things here from time to time.

… and I hope that I get the chance to go to Australia sometime.
